This qualification has been developed in response to the employer need for a higher level of skills within the Dental arena. It has been developed to widen the pool of potential recruits into the dental service and to up skill the existing work force to meet their skills priorities. This qualification could lead to work in job roles such as Dental Nurse, Clinical Support worker or Healthcare assistant.
