The Drugs Awareness course is designed to prepare you to work effectively in drugs prevention and intervention roles. You will gain an understanding of drug use and depressants, the history of drug use, drug terminology, drug categorisation and the main drugs laws. You will also learn about the effect of drug use on society and the workplace. The course will benefit a range of people, including social and health care professionals, youth workers, community groups, parents/carers and volunteers.
