Online Education – The Future of India

Online Education is the best alternate medium of study

Online education gives you access to the world of information merely by a cheap laptop or tablet device and an internet connection. Although it provides ease of access and abundant content, it does not diminish the importance of the teacher. With the growth of online learning, teachers' roles will shift from being the content deliverer to more of a mentor and coach. Online education is becoming an alternate medium of study, with many universities around the world focusing on translating their study material into the worlds most spoken languages to increase the accessibility.

In India, children under the age of 14 comprise 30% of the population. There is a huge gap in the approach of the government and the private sector to catering for the educational needs of this population. It is anticipated that technology can bridge this gap by offering an age agnostic solution to motivated learners. Furthermore, online learning helps employers to train their workforce with the requisite skills of their jobs, well within their budgets and without compromising the quality of training provided.
